Denee Bynum

My earliest and fondest memories are from my grandparents’ kitchen, a place always filled with joy and laughter. As a child, I

bonded with my grandmother over baking her delicious recipes-chocolate cakes, sweet potato pies, and coconut pies. But it was on our annual road trips to Jenkinsville, South Carolina, where my grandparents grew up, that I first tasted our family’s banana pudding. It was a cherished recipe, passed down through generations in her mother’s home.

Each bite of my banana pudding carries the love and cherished memories we shared. I hope that as you enjoy these desserts, you experience the same warmth and

connection I felt with my grandmother.

Thank you for your support and for being a part of her legacy.
